Meet Uschi

I’m Uschi, a certified German teacher specialising in German lessons for adult beginners. I help expats and international learners build confidence in spoken German through practical, real-life communication. My teaching focuses on everyday situations, clear explanations, and a relaxed learning atmosphere.

Many of my students come to me feeling unsure about learning a new language as an adult. Some have tried courses before and felt overwhelmed, others have lived in Germany for years but still hesitate to speak. In my lessons, there is no pressure and no fear of making mistakes. We take things step by step, at a pace that feels comfortable and realistic for you.

I offer in-person German lessons in Munich, live online German lessons, and small-group Walk & Talk sessions. Each format is designed to support adult learners who want to start speaking German with confidence and ease. Especially for beginners, combining language learning with real-life situations can make a big difference.

My background in German studies and many years of international life experience allow me to understand the challenges of living and communicating in another language. I know how important it is to feel understood, supported, and encouraged when learning something new later in life. That understanding shapes both my teaching style and the way I work with my students.

I believe that learning German should feel meaningful and empowering. Instead of memorising isolated rules, we focus on language you can actually use in daily life – whether that’s in conversations, appointments, or everyday interactions. My goal is to help you feel more confident each time you speak German.

How I Teach

I teach German step by step, with a strong focus on real conversations rather than grammar drills. Every lesson lasts 50 minutes and is tailored to your individual needs and goals. You choose the time that suits you, and the online calendar always shows current availability.
